MULTI.engineering is currently looking for an Electrical Engineer Maritime for a long term project at our clients location in The Netherlands. You take part in the design and commissioning of advanced vessels. Your expertise in electrical engineering will ensure optimal power distribution and system functionality under the most challenging conditions.

Tasks & responsibilities

• Design and document electrical systems, including power distribution and lighting.
• Develop and oversee electrical component specifications and installation procedures.
• Conduct thorough testing and validation to meet strict regulatory and client requirements.
• Coordinate with vendors and subcontractors to integrate their designs seamlessly.
• Establish engineering and commissioning standards and practices.
• Contribute to proposal development with conceptual electrical designs.
• Provide technical support and oversee commissioning activities.

Profile

Technical knowledge & soft skills

• You have a bachelor or master degree in Electrical Engineering or in another technical field;
• You look back at minimally three years working experience in the design of complex electrical systems;
• You have experience in the Maritime and / or offshore industry;
• You have excellent knowledge of the English language (spoken and written). Knowledge of Dutch is a plus;
• You have European citizenship .
