The role

Supports HR advisors and hiring managers in the co-development and execution of the recruitment plans based on current and future business needs.

Key accountabilities

  • (Co-) Develop and execute recruitment strategies, policies and initiatives aligned with the overall and departmental business strategy to attract passive job seekers.
  • Execute planned search and sourcing methods to consist of a diversity of resources like advertising, employment agencies, Internet, worker referrals, job fairs etc.
  • Select and interview candidates to ensure job requirements and expectations are clearly understood and candidates are assessed against appropriate criteria, in close collaborate with HR advisors and hiring managers.
  • Drives all the recruitment activities, in close collaboration with the HR advisors and managers.
  • Monitors and constantly update the applicant tracking and administration system, this in compliance with Dutch law & regulations.
  • Consistently update the applicant tracking system and reports to HR advisors and hiring managers.
  • Responsible for conducting reference checks by verifying employment information provided by the candidate.

Skills & experience

  • Bachelor degree in HR management or other relevant (technical) study at BS level.
  • Experience in driving the full cycle of talent acquisition from advising the business and external resourcing options to identification of potential prospects to candidate engagement, assessment and contracting.
  • 5 years of experience in recruitment in shipbuilding /maritime or related industry.
  • Good command of the Dutch & English language (written & verbal).
